TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is a new construction project for services for elderly people of the Paraineu residential care unit in Parainen. The new building replaces the apartments of the current Koivukoto assisted living facility. The replacement building includes 45 apartments for 24-hour service housing and 15 apartments for community living. The project follows the approved service network plan. In the design and implementation of the building, both the functional special requirements for 24-hour service housing and those for community living must be taken into account. Particular emphasis in the design and implementation of the site is on coordinating, especially, the functional capacity of elderly persons, accessibility, safety, space dimensioning, housing, care, and the working conditions of personnel. The client and developer for the project is the Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland.
