TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is a new-build project for the elderly services of the Paraisten assisted living unit in Paraainen. The new building will replace the apartments used for the current Koivukoto assisted living accommodation. The replacement building includes 45 apartments for 24/7 assisted living and 15 apartments for community-based living. The project complies with the approved service network plan. In the design and implementation of the building, both the functional special requirements for 24/7 assisted living and for community-based living must be taken into account. In the design and implementation of the site, particular emphasis is placed on aligning, especially, the ability to function of elderly persons, accessibility, safety, room sizing, living, care, and the working conditions of the staff. The contracting authority and developer for the site is the Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland (Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue).
