TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the new construction project for senior citizens’ services for the Parainen housing services unit in Parainen. The new building will replace the dwellings of the current Koivukoto sheltered housing. The replacement building includes 45 dwellings for 24/7 service housing and 15 dwellings for community-based housing. The project complies with the approved service network plan. In the design and implementation of the building, the functional special requirements of both 24/7 service housing and community-based housing must be taken into account. In the planning and implementation of the site, particular emphasis is placed on aligning, especially for elderly persons, functional capacity, accessibility, safety, space dimensioning, accommodation, care, and the working conditions of the personnel. The client and project owner for the site is the Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland (Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue).
