TENDER DESCRIPTION
DTU wants to purchase a parking system for DTU’s campus in Lyngby. By a parking system, DTU means a technical system that is used to register and manage the use of DTU’s parking spaces. The system is intended to provide an ongoing overview of how many parking spaces are occupied and how many are available. Registration must take place using cameras or inductive loops that are placed at the entrances and exits to the parking areas. Each time a car drives into the parking area, it is counted as an occupied space, and each time a car drives out, a corresponding space is released. In this way, the system can continuously calculate how many parking spaces are available. The information must be displayed on digital parking signs at the entrance or along the access roads, where drivers can see how many spaces are available before entering the area.
