Context of the construction measure Repair project Badhaus: The construction measure in question involves the renovation of a listed historic bathhouse. The building is part of a historic spa complex that extends along the park promenade of the State Park Wilhelmsbad and forms its focal point. The repair work on the bathhouse is part of the planned renovation of all buildings in the listed ensemble. The arcade building located to the west has already been renovated. The bathhouse was built in 1777/78 based on plans by Franz Ludwig von Cancrin as the first of the four pavilions on the Wilhelmsbad promenade. It has two full storeys, as well as a mansard storey and an attic storey. Below the staircase there is a small crawl space.
