TENDER DESCRIPTION

The client (Magistrat der Stadt Rüsselsheim am Main, Department of Building Management) intends to convert the Parkschule from a former grammar and secondary school (Realschule) into an inclusive, full-day primary school with a capacity of 3.5 classes per cohort. The overall complex is divided, in the existing condition, into several buildings: - The listed main building, from 1916 - The listed sports hall section, from 1916 - The intermediate building, from 1916 (demolition) - The canteen building, from 2007 - The extension building, from 1963 (demolition) Both the main building and the sports hall section, as well as the canteen building, will be retained and refurbished and/or structurally adapted to the new use requirements. In this package for shell construction works, the five-storey main building is to be refurbished. Before the start of the works, the new cluster buildings and the intermediate section will be occupied; the school containers in the schoolyard will remain in operation.
