TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the protective clothing of the rescue services as specified in the request for tender and its appendices. The procurement of the protective clothing will be carried out as a procurement consortium, in which the Northern Ostrobothnia Welfare Area (Pohde) is responsible for the procurement as an authorised party. The procurement consortium includes 26 organisations, which consist of welfare areas, rescue departments, the Uusimaa Rescue Association, the Rescue College, the Ministry of the Interior, the Administrative Agency for Permits and Supervision, and Finlands Svenska Brand- & Räddningsförbund. A detailed list of the contracting entities is provided in the framework agreement. The rescue authority must use the rescue service uniform in its official duties unless the quality or nature of the official duties requires otherwise. The rescue department decides on the obligation of other personnel of the rescue department to use the rescue service uniform.
