TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the service uniforms of the rescue departments as specified in the invitation to tender and its appendices. The procurement of the service uniforms will be implemented as a procurement consortium in which the North Ostrobothnia Welfare Area (Pohde) is responsible for the procurement as the authorised contracting party. The procurement consortium includes 26 organisations comprising welfare areas, rescue departments, the Uusimaa Rescue Association, the Rescue Services College, the Ministry of the Interior, the Finnish Agency for Permits and Oversight, and Finlands Svenska Brand- & Räddningsförbund. A detailed list of contracting entities can be found in the framework contract. The rescue authority must use the rescue services’ service uniform in its official duties, unless the quality or nature of the official duties requires otherwise. The rescue department decides on the obligation of other personnel of the rescue department to use the rescue services’ service uniform.
