The City of Nitra is seeking a high-quality architectural design for a footbridge that combines the beauty of the structural solution, functionality, and conflict-free operation in the footbridge’s forecourts and on the footbridge itself. The solution is expected to work with the genius loci, to search for broader connections on the axis of castle – river – hill. Strong emphasis is also placed on a coherent architectural and urban planning concept for the adjoining public spaces in the vicinity of the footbridge, respecting the natural environment of the river and the proximity of the park.
