TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Umweltbundesamt (Federal Environment Agency) has a pond facility with a bank embankment at the Marienfelde site. The aim of this tender is to restore it and provide regular maintenance. In an annual alternating cycle, the existing reeds are to be cut back and the bank embankment as well as the inlet basin kept clean and stable. For all work, compliance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act (BNatSchG) and the Berlin Nature Conservation Act (NatSchG Bln) is required. The contracting authority (AG) does not provide any equipment, means of transport, or other materials. The Marienfelde property is the destination for excursions and visits to the Umweltbundesamt for many international guests, scientists, and construction specialists. The property has, with Building 2019, the first federal net zero energy building. Therefore, it is important that the areas and the pond facility are permanently maintained in a qualitatively high-quality condition. We expect qualified and professional execution of the required services. With full intent, this tender is designed to invite specialist companies with their specific technical capabilities and competencies to participate.
