TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is project management consultant services for the Piikkiö Comprehensive School new-build project, covering project management tasks for the design phase, construction phase, reception and commissioning phase, and monitoring during the warranty period. Piikkiö Comprehensive School will be implemented as a new building replacing the current school complex. The new building for Piikkiö Comprehensive School will be approximately a 8,500 gross square metre new building, where children will study from pre-school to ninth grade of comprehensive school. It will be built on a rather tight and challenging site while the old school is in operation during the construction period, on the same site. The project will be implemented as a turnkey contract with overall responsibility for construction (KVR contract), in which the contractor is responsible for both the design and construction. The project management consultant acts as the client’s representative during the implementation of the construction project and is responsible for directing, coordinating and supervising the client’s project management tasks.
