TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement subject is the client’s representative consulting service for the new construction project of Piikkiö Comprehensive School, for the client’s representative tasks in the design phase, construction phase, receipt and commissioning phase, and the monitoring during the warranty period. Piikkiö Comprehensive School will be implemented as a new building replacing the existing school complex. The new building for Piikkiö Comprehensive School will be an approximately 8,500 gross square metre new building where children attend from pre-school to grade nine of comprehensive school. It will be built on a fairly tight and challenging plot while the old school is operating during the construction period on the same plot. The project will be carried out as a design-and-build contract based on overall responsibility (KVR contract), in which the contractor is responsible for both design and construction.
