Planung einer klimaresilienten Natur- und Freizeitfläche mit Jugendbezug im Nuthepark in Potsdam

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Funding from the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) as well as own funds from the state capital Potsdam (LHP) are available for planning and construction implementation, which must be executed and accounted for with the funding agency by the end of 2028. The aim of the BBSR funding (Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development) is the development of exemplary open space typologies for climate adaptation at 5 locations (partial areas) within the city area of LHP, which are intended to serve as models for the enhancement and climate-adapted green space design of comparable open spaces in the various social spaces of Potsdam. In doing so, previously unused potentials are to be demonstrated through measures for CO2 sequestration, reduction of heat stress and improvement of water retention, showing how climate adaptation, usage quality and quantity can be permanently increased and combined.
