Planung einer klimaresilienten Natur- und Freizeitfläche mit Jugendbezug im Nuthepark in Potsdam

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Funding from the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) as well as own funds from the State Capital Potsdam (LHP) are available for the planning and structural implementation, which are to be implemented by the end of 2028 and accounted for to the funding agency. The aim of the BBSR funding (Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development) is the development of exemplary open space typologies for climate adaptation at 5 locations (subareas) within the LHP urban area, which are intended to serve as models for the upgrading and climate-adapted green space design of comparable open spaces in the various social areas of Potsdam. In doing so, previously unused potentials shall be demonstrated through measures for CO2 sequestration, reduction of heat stress and improvement of water retention, showing how climate adaptation, usage quality and quantity can be sustainably increased and connected.
