Planung einer klimaresilienten Natur- und Freizeitfläche mit Jugendbezug im Nuthepark in Potsdam

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Funding from the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) as well as own funds of the state capital Potsdam (LHP) are available for planning and construction, which must be implemented by the end of 2028 and settled with the funding agency. The objective of the BBSR funding (Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development) is the development of exemplary open space typologies for climate adaptation at 5 locations (partial areas) within the LHP urban area, which are intended to serve as examples for the enhancement and climate-adapted green space design of comparable open spaces in the different social areas of Potsdam. Previously unused potentials are to be demonstrated by measures for CO2 binding, reduction of heat load, and improvement of water retention, showing how climate adaptation, usage quality, and quantity can be permanently increased and combined.
