TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority is the Zweckverband Breitbandversorgung in the district of Ravensburg. In total, 39 towns and municipalities form the Zweckverband Breitbandversorgung in the district of Ravensburg. The task of the Zweckverband is to ensure, within the association area, an expansion with fiber optics for under-served households and commercial enterprises. Currently, within the scope of a Europe-wide tender, the operators for the network operation of the Gigabit networks are being determined in accordance with section A.3. Award of the contract is expected in the 2nd half of 2026. The contracting authority plans the construction of a Gigabit network (FTTB) in the cadastral area of Wangen. The aim is to connect the connections eligible for funding under the Gigabit Guidelines 2.0 in the expansion area (grey spots). The contracting authority has prepared a comprehensive FTTB structure planning and an expansion concept. This current planning stage must be transferred into a planning for approval.
