TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service of planning support moderation in the large-scale nature conservation project "Green Belt Tri-border Area Bavaria - Saxony - Thuringia" is being tendered. Within Project I (Planning), a maintenance and development plan (PEPL) will be created. The PEPL is a cross-sectional and implementation-oriented, spatially precise specialist plan that, taking into account socio-economic framework conditions (Socio-economic Study, SÖS), develops the requirements and concrete measures for species, habitat, and landscape protection from a nature conservation perspective for a period of ten to twenty years. The process of creating the PEPL, including the SÖS, is to be accompanied by moderation that ensures that the needs of the affected actors (stakeholders) can be adequately considered in the planning process and that consensual solutions and win-win situations are identified. The project-related planning area runs predominantly along the former inner-German border (Green Belt), covers an area of about 6,500 ha, and extends over the territory of three districts in the three eponymous federal states (LK Hof, BY, Vogtlandkreis, SN, Saale-Orla-Kreis, TH).
