TENDER DESCRIPTION

The west bank of Scheibe Lake is to be developed for tourism. The city of Hoyerswerda, as project sponsor, will advance planning and construction measures for the touristic development of Scheibe Lake independently, using additional funding. A variety of models and plans exist for the investigation area of Scheibe Lake. The city of Hoyerswerda commissioned eta AG engineering to develop the planning for the "Improvement of Access to the West Bank of Scheibe Lake." These were included in the present draft planning of 12.01.2024 and continue to be to be observed. A landmark – approximately 34 m high observation tower – will be erected as a new feature. Furthermore, two functional buildings at Scheibe Lake are planned, at the preliminary planning stage, to be implemented with further planning. The approved development plan "Badestrand Westufer Scheibe-See," 2nd amendment, applies to the planning area. The project is located in the Free State of Saxony, Bautzen district, approximately 4 km east of the city of Hoyerswerda.
