TENDER DESCRIPTION

The west shore of Scheibe Lake is to be developed for tourist use. The city of Hoyerswerda, as project sponsor, will advance planning and construction measures for the tourist development of Scheibe Lake independently, using additional funding. Numerous models and plans exist for the investigation area of Scheibe Lake. The city of Hoyerswerda commissioned eta AG engineering to prepare the planning for the “Improvement of Access to the West Shore of Scheibe Lake.” These were incorporated in the present draft plan dated 12.01.2024 and are to be observed further. As a new landmark, a landmark tower approximately 34 meters high will be erected. Furthermore, two functional buildings are planned at Scheibe Lake, at the preliminary design stage, which are to be implemented with further planning. The confirmed development plan "Beach West Shore Scheibe Lake", 2nd amendment, applies to the planning area. The project is located in the Free State of Saxony, Bautzen district, approximately 4 km east of the city of Hoyerswerda.
