TENDER DESCRIPTION

Subject and objective of the service Part 1: The subject of this service description is the preparation of the bill of quantities for the construction of the overhead line system (HOAI service phase 6, preparation for the award procedure) on the basis of the available draft design (service phase 3). Special feature of the processing order: Contrary to the usual chronological sequence of HOAI service phases, service phase 6 is brought forward within the scope of this project and is to be delivered before the preparation of the detailed design/construction planning (HOAI service phase 5, see Part 2 of this document). The aim is to prepare the bill of quantities ready for construction early on the basis of the draft design, in order to bring forward the subsequent tendering of the construction work. The detailed design/construction planning (Part 2) is prepared by the same contractor that has already been commissioned to prepare the bill of quantities (Part 1, LPH 6). It then further specifies the draft design in detail.
