The project specifically focuses on "Objekt 1 Lagergebäude mit Hochregallager" (Object 1 Warehouse building with high-bay warehouse) and the "Einhausung der Freifläche zw. dem bestehenden Lagergebäude und der Geräteeinstellhalle, inkl Anordnung der Regallager" (enclosure of the open space between the existing warehouse building and the equipment shed, including the arrangement of the shelving systems).

The Statement of Work (SOW) summarizes the basic services ("Grundleistungen") across various planning phases (Leistungsphasen - LPH) as per HOAI (German fee schedule for architects and engineers), covering both "Gebäude und Innenräume" (buildings and interiors) and "Technische Ausrüstung" (technical equipment).

Key deliverables and activities include:

• LPH 1 Grundlagenermittlung (Basic Evaluation): Clarifying the task, conducting site inspections, advising on the overall scope of services, formulating decision aids for other planning participants, and summarizing/documenting results, including coordinating the purpose of the new warehouse building and incorporating concerns from the wastewater treatment plant operations and planning department MSE through a workshop/kick-off meeting, and preparing a risk matrix.
• LPH 2 Vorplanung (Preliminary Planning): Analyzing basic conditions, coordinating objectives, developing and evaluating three variants for the enclosure of the open space with shelving systems (including drawings at an appropriate scale), clarifying essential connections and conditions, providing work results for other planners, conducting preliminary negotiations for approval, and providing a cost estimate according to DIN 276. For technical equipment, this also includes developing a planning concept with system pre-dimensioning, examining alternative solutions, preparing functional diagrams, clarifying interfaces, and planning the schedule.
• LPH 3 Entwurfsplanung (Draft Planning): Developing the design, incorporating feedback into an approvable digital design (including overview plans, site plans, views, and sections at specified scales), providing work results for other planners, negotiating approval feasibility, performing cost calculation according to DIN 276 (to at least 3rd level), updating the schedule, and documenting results.
• LPH 4 Genehmigungsplanung (Approval Planning).
• LPH 5 Ausführungsplanung (Execution Planning).
