TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the invitation to tender by Oberösterreichische Gesundheitsholding GmbH and Kepler Universitätsklinikum GmbH is the supply of a Point-of-Care-Testing (POCT) system for measuring the human blood glucose concentration. The POCT system must be CE-marked (i.e. IVDR). The POCT system for measuring the blood glucose concentration is intended for use in all 8 hospitals (5 hospital facilities) of Oberösterreichische Gesundheitsholding GmbH and Kepler Universitätsklinikum GmbH. Optionally, Landespflege- und Betreuungszentren GmbH is also to be taken into consideration. The offered amount must include all items stated in the subject of the invitation to tender: • professional blood glucose measuring devices intended for use in the hospital; • test strips; • POCT administration software (“middleware”) for centralized data management; • internal quality controls. A total of approximately 486,000 blood glucose measurements are expected per year. Blood glucose measurements are carried out on 365 days per year around the clock.
