TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service contract includes the work covered by the regulation dam failure and disturbance incident services contract for the regulation dams of North Ostrobothnia. The task is also to perform expert duties related to the regulation dams of the Water Resources Department of the Lapland Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, and to ensure, from the owner’s perspective, that the equipment included within the scope of the contract is handled in a cost-effective manner. The contract term is three years. The prices for the first contract year are fixed. The prices for the second and third contract years may be reviewed in accordance with the index clause defined in the request for tenders. With the approval of both parties, the contract may be extended by one two (2)-year option period. The price for the option period is determined in accordance with the index clause defined in the request for tenders. The procurement has not been divided into lots, as the work forms a single entity that the contracting authority can manage most efficiently through one contract.
