TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service contract comprises the works included in the maintenance and emergency situation service contract for the regulation dams of North Ostrobothnia. The task is also to carry out expert duties related to the regulation dams of the Water Resources Division of the Lapland Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (elinkeinvoimakeskus), and to ensure, from the owner’s perspective, that the equipment covered by the contract is managed cost-effectively. The contract term is three years. The prices for the first contract year are fixed. The prices for the second and third contract years may be adjusted in accordance with the index clause specified in the request for tenders. With the approval of both parties, the contract may be extended by a single option period of two (2) years. The price for the option period is determined in accordance with the index clause specified in the request for tenders. The procurement has not been divided into lots, as the works form a single whole that the contracting authority can manage most efficiently through one contract.
