TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public contract is the construction of a new tourist information center, the reconstruction of the existing engine room, compressor room, and two winding towers, as part of the revitalization of the former black coal mine Gabriela site in Karviná. The mine has been closed and protected as a historical monument since 2000. The tourist information center building will serve the entire site and will include a bistro providing services for the site's visitors. After the completion of the construction of POHO Park Gabriela, these buildings will be used for civic amenities, cultural, social, and sporting events. The revitalization of the former Gabriela mine site will also include park landscaping, including the construction of an irrigation system on the green roof of the new tourist information center, the construction of a parking lot, and the modification of a new paved pedestrian area between the turning point and the existing engine room building for relaxation and outdoor activities.
