TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the expansion of the right flood embankment along the Wieprz River over the section at the embankment’s new kilometre markers, from km 0+000 to 5+677, within the investment project titled “Improving flood safety in the town of Dęblin”. The embankment protects the Dęblin–Masów valley located between the Airport in Dęblin and the railway bridge on the outflow section to the Vistula. Approximately 4 thousand residents live in this area. Flood-threatened are residential buildings, utility and public buildings and infrastructure, as well as road infrastructure, in particular military facilities of the Air Force Base in Dęblin. The area protected by flood embankments amounts to approx. 10.8 km2.
