IMPROVEMENT OF THE TECHNICAL CONDITION OF ROADS WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ŚRODA ŚLĄSKA BY MEANS OF ASPHALT OVERLAYS: TASK I ŁĄKOWA STREET IN THE TOWN OF SZCZEPANÓW; TASK II SADOWA STREET IN THE TOWN OF SZCZEPANÓW The subject of the contract is the improvement of the technical condition of roads within the Municipality of Środa Śląska by constructing asphalt overlays: Task I Łąkowa Street in the town of Szczepanów, Task II Sadowa Street in the town of Szczepanów. Description of the works envisaged: Task I Łąkowa Street in the town of Szczepanów The assumed scope of works provides for the repair of the existing degraded bituminous pavement, with strengthening of the subbase in several locations (approx. 5–10% of the surface area), by constructing an asphalt overlay along the existing road trace, including the construction of shoulders and driveways. The planned repair will consist in profiling and spraying the existing bituminous pavement (and from crushed stone aggregate) with fast-setting cationic asphalt emulsion, and in laying along the existing trace a wearing course layer made of bituminous asphalt AC11S with a thickness of 5–6 cm.
