TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the provision of services in the public interest in domestic regular municipal bus transport within the territory of the city of Nové Zámky (hereinafter referred to as “MAD”). The procured services are, pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23.10.2007 on public passenger transport services by rail and by road, repealing Council Regulations (EEC) No 1191/69 and (EEC) No 1107/70, pursuant to Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No 332/2023 Coll. on public passenger transport and on amending and supplementing certain laws, provided as public-interest services, and the vehicle fleet will be composed in accordance with Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No 214/2021 Coll. on support for ecological vehicles in road transport and on amending and supplementing certain laws. The intention of the contracting authority is to ensure that the travelling public is provided with safe, efficient and high-quality transport services in MAD, with their appropriate performance according to the transport service needs of the city.
