PQQ for Lease of Pressure Washer Equipment

TENDER DESCRIPTION

This is a pre-qualification activity in advance of a formal tender process. ScotRail requires a Service Provider (SP) to provide the Lease of high-performance industrial pressure washer systems suitable for cleaning railway rolling stock and depot infrastructure. The system will be installed outside the maintenance sheds, with small delivery stations with hoses inside the shed. The water will be supplied via fixed piping into the shed, the electrical connection will be supplied as well as concrete base for the machine to be sited. The supplier will be responsible for providing detail to attach to the pressure washer equipment. We require a quantity of 9 Pressure washers across 5 ScotRail depots/locations: Corkerhill (1), Eastfield (1), Haymarket (4), Inverness (1) and Shields (2). The reliability and availability of pressure washers is of high importance to the on-going maintenance activities at depots and as such the requirement of asset technology refresh, economy principles and long term sustainability is vital which will also assist with our commitment to ISO standards and continual improvement.
