TENDER DESCRIPTION
The reason for the procurement is the expansion of the existing computing and virtualization capacities. Three uniformly configured, high-performance and expandable rack servers are to be procured. They are intended to be used as nodes of an on-premise virtualization environment based on Proxmox VE, to accommodate new virtualized workloads and to gradually take over suitable systems previously operated on VMware. The aim is a future-proof server platform with high computing and RAM capacity, redundant power supply, extensive network connectivity, remote management and manufacturer service. The systems are intended for the shared use of computing, storage and network resources by multiple research projects.
