For the site of Frankfurt am Main, an automated system is required for the work area “Drug Discovery” for SDS-based electrophoretic separation, analysis based on molecular weight, and specific immunological detection of proteins from limited available sample matrices. Suitable samples include in particular cell culture supernatants, cell and tissue lysates, as well as plasma and serum. The system must enable total protein detection for normalization independently of housekeeping proteins. Detection must be possible on the same device both by chemiluminescence and by fluorescence.
