TENDER DESCRIPTION

The services required are the pick-up, at each visit, of the wooden pallets stored at postal industrial sites, the sorting, repair, reuse and recovery/valorisation of the collected pallets, as well as the supply and delivery of wooden pallets. The contractor may be required to carry out the removal and treatment of wood waste and debris (broken pallets, damaged wood, offcuts and scraps). The contractor shall treat and recover/valorise the pallets as part of a circular economy approach, aimed simultaneously at optimizing costs, environmental performance and securing logistics flows. The pick-up and supply services concern 9 sites. All of these sites are located in Île-de-France. The types of pallets to be handled are as follows—European Pallets (EUR/EPAL): dimensions 1,200 × 800 mm, Industrial pallets: dimensions 1,200 × 1,000 mm, Half-pallets: dimensions 800 × 600 mm, and non-standard pallets with variable dimensions depending on the specific needs of the sites. The annual volume of pallet pick-up is estimated at between 300,000 and 350,000, for all categories combined.
