The contract duration, excluding any options, is 24 months, starting from the date of the contract signing. The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the contract for a maximum of 24 months, with communication to the contractor at least 30 days before the contract's expiry. In exceptional cases, the contract may be extended for the time strictly necessary to finalize the procedure for identifying a new contractor, as per Article 120, paragraph 11 of the Code.

The contract's early execution may commence pending its formal stipulation. The immediate start of services is ensured upon the signing of the "Verbale di avvio dell'esecuzione del contratto" (Report of commencement of contract execution). The contract will be stipulated no earlier than 32 days from the last communication of the award provision and, in any case, within 60 days from the award, unless Article 18, paragraph 2 of the Code states otherwise.

Key milestones for intervention execution include:

• Urgent interventions: To be carried out concurrently with the inspection.
• Short-term programmable interventions: Must begin within 5 working days of quote approval.
• Medium-term programmable interventions: Must begin within 15 consecutive calendar days of quote approval.
• Long-term programmable interventions: Must begin within a period agreed with the contracting authority, not exceeding 60 consecutive calendar days from quote approval.

The core scope of work for this tender involves a framework agreement for ordinary, extraordinary, and predictive maintenance of equipment and waste treatment plants. Specifically, the services are to be provided at two plant hubs: the Lovadina plant for non-recyclable dry waste treatment and the Trevignano plant for organic waste treatment.

The maintenance activities include:

• Ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance interventions, with specified hourly rates for weekdays, holidays, and night hours.
• Supply of spare parts, which may include items like specific shafts (e.g., cod.ATAL1003, ATAL1010, ATAL1011), return wheels, and chains for shredders/revolvers.
• Revision of spirals and shafts of digester feeding augers (e.g., CL_101 A-M1, CL_102, CL_103, CL_104, CL_105).
• The work may also involve the rental of equipment such as elevated platforms, trucks with cranes, and forklifts.
• The contractor must be able to operate autonomously, utilizing their own equipment and providing personnel with necessary personal protective equipment (DPI) for specific and interferential risks.
