TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority will enter into a framework agreement, with a single economic operator, for each lot separately, the object of which shall be the supply of pharmaceutical products. The object and purpose of the framework agreement are to establish the elements/essential conditions that will govern the subsequent contracts to be awarded under and during the term of this agreement. The initiation of the procedure for awarding the framework agreement for the purchase of medicines is based on the need to ensure, under continuous conditions, the supply of pharmaceutical products indispensable for providing complete medical treatments, i.e. curative, preventive and recovery/rehabilitative treatments. At the same time, the initiation and conduct of the open tender procedure are justified by the need to take all measures necessary to guarantee uninterrupted access to medical treatments and to protect the health and life of persons deprived of liberty. The quantities and products requested are found in the specifications.
