TENDER DESCRIPTION

1.1 Contract Item 1 – Modernisation of the Mostiștea substation This item is, in turn, made up of two sub-items and the corresponding Specifications (SOW): 1.1.1 Mostiștea Electrical Substation The 220 kV substation will be of the outdoor type, with air insulation, made using conventional equipment, located on the disused area of the current 220 kV substation. The 110 kV substation will be of the indoor type, equipped with sealed cubicles, with air/technical gas insulation, in a three-phase configuration. The 20 kV substation will be located in the current MV substation building. In this project, two new, independent in-house service units have been provided: one direct current (DC) services unit and one alternating current (AC) services unit, as follows: • a DC in-house services unit that supplies the DC consumers of the 220 kV, 110 kV, 20 kV substation, the AT1 and AT2 autotransformers, and the 110/20 kV transformer units T1 and T2; • an AC in-house services unit that supplies the AC consumers of the 220 kV, 110 kV and 20 kV substation.
