TENDER DESCRIPTION

1.1 Procurement Item 1 – Retrofitting the Mostiștea substation This item, in turn, consists of two sub-items and the associated Specifications (Terms of Reference): 1.1.1 Mostiștea electrical substation The 220 kV substation will be of the outdoor type, with air insulation, built using conventional equipment, located on the decommissioned surface of the current 220 kV substation. The 110 kV substation will be of the indoor type, equipped with sealed switchgear cells, with air/technical gas insulation, in a three-phase design. The 20 kV substation will be located in the current MV substation building. In this project, two new, independent units for auxiliary services have been provided: one for direct current (DC) and, respectively, one for alternating current (AC), as follows: • a DC auxiliary services unit that supplies the DC consumers of the 220 kV, 110 kV and 20 kV substation, the AT1 and AT2 autotransformers, and the T1 and T2 transformer units 110/20 kV; • an AC auxiliary services unit that supplies the AC consumers of the 220 kV, 110 kV and 20 kV substation.
