The Municipality of Bistrița has signed financing contract no.1063/28.05.2025 with the Ministry of Energy for the implementation of the project "Sarata Photovoltaic Panel Park", financed through the Modernization Program (MEFM) managed by the Ministry of Energy. Specific Objective I – ESTABLISHMENT OF A RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION UNIT, NAMELY SOLAR SOURCES The objective targets the procurement of technological equipment with and without installation, as well as works, aimed at establishing a solar energy production unit. The specific objective concerns the completion of works necessary for operationalizing a renewable energy production unit characterized by the following functional parameters: - New installed capacity for renewable energy production: 3,961.44 kWp / 3,900 kW AC; - Net primary energy production of 391.16 toe/year from renewable sources; - Total net electricity production of 86,623.20 MWh over a 20-year period; The specific objective is correlated with the indicators assumed in the Funding Request, contributing to ensuring a significant share of the Municipality of Bistrița's electricity needs from renewable sources, specifically solar sources.
