TENDER DESCRIPTION
For the tramway route Bismarckstraße in Darmstadt, an increase in traction power is required. This is to be implemented in the section between the nodes Bismarckstraße/Dolivostraße and Willy-Brandt-Platz, the so-called Bismarckstraße-Ost. As part of the traction power increase, the overhead line system must be completely renewed. The section of track to be planned has a length of approx. 650 m. The construction measure is to be implemented in two construction phases. Construction phase 1 extends from the intersection area Bismarckstraße/Dolivostraße to the west side of Kasinostraße. This section is to be built in spring 2027. The second construction section runs from Kasinostraße to Willy-Brandt-Platz. Implementation is planned for mid-2029. The existing overhead line system consists of a single overhead line with one contact wire per track. The contact wire is fixedly installed. The overhead line suspension is provided via contact wire holders on cross-span support points. The cross-spans are attached to wall anchors as well as to masts in the side area. The guy wires of the public street lighting are partially attached to the overhead line masts.
