TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Cologne Transport Company AG is fundamentally modernizing the North bus depot in the 2nd construction phase to enable the complete electrification of the fleet by 2030. The core is the adjustment of the parking concept: In the future, bus parking will take place in parking blocks with steel crossbeams for charging hoods. The charging infrastructure will be bundled in an elevated technical bay. The traffic areas as well as the surface drainage will be completely renewed. The wash hall will be fundamentally refurbished for use by electric buses and provided with a maintenance pit. Moreover, the workshop will be expanded by seven workstations and the operations building will be energetically refurbished and extended by a two-story annex. The existing spare parts warehouse will be modernized and equipped with new fittings. All measures will be implemented while maintaining bus and workshop operations. The tendered services include civil engineering and marking works in connection with the preparation of the site setup areas as well as the establishment of the construction water supply for the construction project.
