TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTS) commissions selected contractors (contractors) to carry out project sponsor tasks (so-called project sponsors – PS) in the funding of projects, in order, with their support, to meet the requirements for the efficient use of funding through careful expert and administrative planning, implementation and monitoring. The contractor supports the BMFTS in terms of both expertise and administration in all phases of project funding (from advising potential applicants and applicants and reviewing the applications, including assessment by expert panels, support during the project term up to and including verification of the use of funds), in the strategic further development of the funding priorities and in the dissemination of results within the framework of professional communication. This requires that the contractor has academic/scientific expertise, administrative competence, business/economic expertise and research policy competence; it forms an important interface between applicants and the granting authority at national, European and global level and performs a service function for the BMFTS.
