TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Simple reconstruction is divided into 2 separate parts – “Infrastructure” and “Interlocking and signalling equipment”, which form a functional whole and are awarded in two separate procurement procedures. The contracting authority reserves the right to coordinate the timing of the course of both procurement procedures for the individual parts of the Simple reconstruction, since it is in the contracting authority’s interest to award (and subsequently implement) both parts of the functional whole of the Simple reconstruction in parallel at the same time. The contracting authority may, for example, reasonably extend the deadline for submission of tenders and change or supplement the tender documentation in one of the procurement procedures in response to the course of the other procurement procedure. In these cases, the contracting authority will proceed in accordance with Sections 98 and 99 of the ZZVZ. The result of the procurement procedure will be the conclusion of two contracts – the Contract for work and the Contract for the provision of assistance/coordination.
