TENDER DESCRIPTION

RECONSTRUCTION AND EXPANSION OF PART OF THE “B” HOSPITAL BUILDING FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS DEPARTMENT. The main objective of the investment is to relocate the Laboratory Diagnostics Department from its current location, i.e. the 3rd floor of the outpatient clinic building at ul. Józefa Piłsudskiego 66 in Włodawa, to premises located in part of the “B” hospital building on the ground floor and in the basement. The investment will make it possible to significantly shorten the time for transporting samples for testing, patients’ results, and blood and its components from the laboratory line to other treatment units, diagnostic units and hospital wards, which will benefit patients. Locating the laboratory within the hospital will limit logistics costs and improve the organisation of work by shortening the time needed for diagnosis. This will translate into more efficient use of staff and infrastructure and more efficient delivery of healthcare services. The target location covered by the project is in vacant premises on the ground floor in the eastern part of the “B” hospital building, in close proximity to the operating theatre block.
