III.1. PURPOSE OF THE PLANNED INVESTMENT 1. The present investment involves the reconstruction of the existing wastewater treatment plant in Nysa. The plant receives municipal wastewater (mixed domestic, industrial and stormwater) from the centralized sewer system of the Nysa agglomeration comprising the municipalities of Nysa, Otmuchów and Głuchołazy, as well as industrial and domestic wastewater delivered by means of a tanker (cesspool emptier). Treated wastewater is discharged into the Kłodzka Nysa River at km 59+810. Within the facility, the following technological structures are located: • main wastewater pumping station, • building of mechanical screens, • horizontal 3-chamber grit chamber, • kpv-x measuring channel with Venturi nozzle, • sand dewatering drying beds, • radial primary clarifiers, • aeration chambers, • radial secondary clarifiers, • wastewater and sludge recirculation pumping station, • pumping station for “raw” and excess sludge and for “own” sludge, • thickening of “raw” and excess sludge, • WKF engine room building with boilerhouse, • two closed fermentation chambers, • thickener for fermented sludge with a pumping station, • storage facility for…
