TENDER DESCRIPTION
Description of the service: The listed building of the Museum of Hamburg Historical History is to be refurbished and rebuilt. The planned measures include comprehensive modernisation and refurbishment of all storeys, with the focus on the required structural measures for setting up the permanent exhibition anew on the 1st and 2nd floors, as well as the redesign and reorganisation of visitor infrastructure, educational areas, the museum shop and the restaurant. The museum has a net floor area of approximately 13,400 m² with a gross floor area of approximately 17,500 m². In addition, there is the covered inner courtyard and the exterior areas, which are also to be considered as part of the measures. The present bill of quantities concerns plastering work in the interior. The services essentially comprise the following: - Cleaning of existing substrates (approx. 5,000 m²) - Partial testing of existing substrates (old plaster / masonry) for bond pull-off tensile strength (approx. 250 m²) - Application of bonding bridges using lime rendering mortar & clay adhesive mortar (approx. 1,440 m²) - Spray-applied lime mortar coating as a preparatory measure (approx. 3,800 m²) - Application…
