TENDER DESCRIPTION
As part of the planning for the new residential quarter Zeche Sterkrade, the construction of a new pedestrian and cycle path bridge is planned. This is intended to cross the CEF species protection area (continous ecological functionality), which is located to the north-east of the existing Zechenfördergerüst Sterkrade, which will later represent the centre of the new residential quarter, as well as the rail line (Oberhausen–Emmerich; Betuwe), thereby enabling a connection to the local Volkspark toward the city centre of Sterkrade. Object and structural engineering planning, as well as the planning of the technical equipment (lighting), will be put out to tender.
