TENDER DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the proposed structure is to relieve the currently burdened transport network around the city of Košice as well as in the city itself from through (transit) traffic, and at the same time, by creating a south-east bypass of the city with multiple new connections to the existing transport system, to redistribute source and destination traffic, thereby relieving the currently heavily used approaches into the city. This will increase the flow, speed and safety of traffic and will lead to a significant improvement in traffic operational conditions for through (transit) traffic. The subject of the contract is specified in detail in Volume 1 to Volume 5 of these tender documents (SP).
