TENDER DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the proposed construction is to relieve the currently burdened transport network in the vicinity of the city of Košice as well as within the city itself from through traffic, and at the same time, by creating a south-eastern bypass of the city with several new connections to the existing transport system, to redistribute origin and destination traffic, thereby easing currently congested entrances to the city. This will increase the flow, speed and safety of transport and will lead to a significant improvement in the transport-operational conditions for through traffic. The subject matter of the contract is defined in detail in Volume 1 to Volume 5 of these tender documents (SP).
