TENDER DESCRIPTION

The services include: - Conducting a topographical survey; - Further spatial and traffic-related elaboration of the layout alternatives from the scoping note for the GRUP ‘Zelzate-oost’ in order to provide the necessary input for the preparation of the plan-MER. - Further design-related research requested in the context of the further preparation of the plan-MER. The preparation of the plan-MER itself does not form part of this assignment. - To ensure, during the entire design process, due attention to road safety, traffic engineering, human factors and road design, each design team must include at least one member who holds a certificate of an accredited training course to become a road safety auditor (https://www.vlaanderen.be/mobiliteit-en-openbare-werken/verkeer/verkeersveiligheidsaudit). The task of this member is to identify issues related to road safety for the various categories of road users, to indicate their severity, and to (have) the design process adjusted accordingly.
