By carrying out tree safety inspections, ROVA, in an efficient and effective manner, ensures the development and maintenance of a vital and safe stock of trees in the municipalities of Oost Gelre and Winterswijk. The municipality of Oost Gelre is the owner and manager of approximately 43,000 trees. Oost Gelre has been divided for tree maintenance into three areas (rayons). Each year, the contractor to be appointed carries out tree safety inspections in one of the sub-areas. In addition, a part of the trees (spread across the entire municipality) is inspected annually. The municipality of Winterswijk is the owner and manager of approximately 53,000 trees. Winterswijk has been divided for tree maintenance into three areas (rayons).
