TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Hasselt is looking for an experienced communications partner for the strategic guidance of urban files that have an impact on the physical and social living environment. This includes, among other things, files relating to urban development, mobility, infrastructure, road works, public space, climate, energy and sustainability, and other related policy areas. For this lot, environmental communication comprises strategic communication about developments and changes in the living environment. The focus is on informing, creating understanding, involvement and support among residents, users, stakeholders and other relevant target groups. The contractor analyses the social, policy-related, spatial and communication context and advises the City of Hasselt on the most suitable communication, participation, awareness-raising and stakeholder approach. In doing so, the contractor has demonstrable experience in environmental communication and in the specific communication issues that arise with developments and changes in the urban and social living environment.
